I grew up in the area and 5 years ago, I made Hanna City my home. Recently, I joined the board as the Commissioner over Building and Grounds. I am excited by the challenge ahead of me to make Hanna City Park District a building for all the residents to enjoy. I enjoy being active and completing renovation projects. I have two sons whom I enjoy spending most of my free time with. When time and weather allows, I enjoy being outdoors with my boys hunting, fishing, and being in nature.

  • Amanda George

    Commissioner- Activities & Education

    ageorgehcpd@gmail.com

I have been a resident of Hanna City for 2 years. My husband and I chose to purchase a house in this community because of the location near Peoria but also because of it’s location in the country. You might see me sitting on my patio enjoying the night. I enjoy arts and crafts and am excited to be the Activities and Education Commissioner.

  • David Keithley

    Commissioner

    keithleyhcpd@gmail.com

As a commissioner of the HCPD, I have served as secretary and vice president before taking the role of President of the Board in May 2019 to May 2023. I have been a citizen of Hanna City since 2013 when I came along with my wife Jennifer and our for now-grown children to serve as pastor of Hanna City Presbyterian Church, but I have childhood ties to the community including several family members who live in the Hanna City, Farmington, and Elmwood area. An avid St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Bears fan, my commitment to the park district stems from the fact that I am most of all a fan of the people of Hanna City.

  • Monica Trainor

    Officer-Treasurer

My name is Monica Trainor and I am honored to serve as the Treasurer for the Hanna City Park District. I grew up a few miles from Hanna City (in the Village of Norwood) and spent many summers visiting the community for various activities. My family moved to our home outside of Hanna City four years ago. We love to spend time exploring the outdoors, fishing, hiking, reading, and relaxing while conversing with friends around campfires. Hanna City is more than a small town in rural Peoria County, it is a community of people who care about one another. I am committed to serve our community with my experience in finance and look forward to seeing the future growth of the Hanna City Park District and our community.

  • Amy Ciota

    Officer-Secretary

I was born and raised in rural Trivoli and currently live 5 minutes from my childhood home with my husband of more than 25 years, Joe. We have been blessed to raise our children, Corey and Mallorey, in this community. My involvement with the community has been lifelong and my interest in the Hanna City Park District building began when the school district consolidated [‘04]. I feel honored to have been a part of the vision that brought the fitness center and the daycare to that building and even more proud that the Hanna City Park District is keeping this dream alive. The HCPD representatives and volunteers are an amazing group to work with and dedicated to improving OUR community with new, fresh ideas.

    Kathy Workman

    Membership Specialist

I moved to Hanna City as a second grader in the same building that now houses HCPD Park District and Fitness Center. I took on the job of volunteer Membership Coordinator for HCPD in 2016, after retiring from my job as a medical transcriptionist. I am married to Dan, who also helps out with small jobs around the building. Together we have two daughters and four lovely grandkids. I enjoy working out in the Fitness Center, choral singing, and baking.
