Hanna City Park District formed in 2008 and began its service to the citizens of Hanna City and surrounding area out of the old grade school thanks to the dedicated efforts of number of volunteers with a vision for the future of our little community. At that time, a small group of local citizens wanted to give the former grade school, a new life. That is when the Hanna City Area Community Association was established and efforts to update the building with the Village’s help began. Today, a board of commissioners and officers oversee the continued effort to keep the Hanna City Park District’s vision and mission in focus.

The Mission of the Hanna City Park District is to promote health and wellness among our residents through recreation, education, and community.
